Welcome to the April newsletter. We have had glorious weather in the UK and Spring really has burst into life. We are featuring a poem this month which celebrates the life in a woodland, and from an unusual perspective. Read Black Carr Wood (it is a real wood).

The news bulletin features a frightening story of fires in Portugal and their cause, and our 21st Century nobody appears to have lost her way…..!

Easter is celebrated on April 24th this year. It is the biggest celebration in the Christian calendar, but that doesn’t mean that we cannot wish a very happy Easter to our friends of all Faiths……….. So, to all our dear friends on the Gapfillers site, Berni, Ros and Cee wish you a very happy Easter.
