Apr 1 – Thousands of demonstrators converge on London’s financial district as leaders from the world’s richest and leading emerging nations meet to discuss the economic crisis.

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown invited G20 leaders to London to help facilitate a common approach to the global economic crisis.

However, leading up to the summit, displays of dissent have been grabbing the spotlight.
