Feb 18 – China lends Russian oil companies $25 billion in exchange for 20 years of oil from their new East Siberian oilfields.

Cash-rich and energy-hungry China is lending the money for Russia to invest in its oil infrastructure as Moscow faces its first recession in a decade.
