  1. CITY LIVING

    Plastic, paper
    Little bits of food
    Part cooked, overcooked
I’m just not in the mood

    Cardboard, bottle tops
    Newspapers galore
    Bits of garden remnants
I don’t do that any more

    Plastic bags, old boots
    Bottles, cans and tins
    Don’t people think about
what they put into their bins?

    Broken eggs, vegetables,
    Chicken from a box
    Dining isn’t that select
    When you’re a City fox
