Crocker: No secret plan in Iraq

Jun. 5 – U.S. Ambassador to Iraq Ryan Crocker says there are no secret deals being made on the U.S. future in Iraq.

A report in the British Independent Newspaper said a secret deal has been negotiated that would put permanent U.S. troops in Iraq — something flatly denied by US ambassador to Iraq Ryan Crocker.
