Cyclists risk their health on roads in Wales – answers

Welsh-speaking cyclists who read 10 the sign thought someone was having a laugh 11. It is possible that an online translation led to confusion between cyclists and cystitis. It certainly 12 did not mean anything like 13 ‘cyclists dismount’.
A spokesman 14 for the Vale of Glamorgan Council’s 15 highways department said a mistake had been made 16 and they were investigating 17. The sign would be replaced 18 by an amended 19 one and put up 20 as soon as possible.
