Webinar recordings
As you know these have been presentation certain challenges to me and I am still struggling to get them edited and uploaded.
I am providing the links here for the originals on WIZIQ (they take a while to load and I can’t seem to fast forward) an the very first one I will email to you all under separate cover.
Dealing with Advanced students (June)
Teaching one to one (July)
An Introduction to blogging and online Professional Development – Shelly Terrell (tech webinar)
I will continue to work on them so that I can get them all into one place for easier access.
I’m afraid these are really warts and all (especially the first one which shows me trying to get a decent ‘pose’ for the still pic!! Go on have a laugh!!

#eltmentor
We didn’t manage to arrange a Q&A session after the webinar especially as #RSCON was looming. We’ll try and get that going again after the next session at the end of August.
(Sign up to twitter, then sign up to tweetdeck and post a comment there. If you need any help with this let me know).
#eltchat
For those of you who would like to follow #eltchat but haven’t signed up to twitter and would prefer to ‘lurk’ and observe before taking the plunge, you can observe #eltchat on Tweetchat.com. Here is the link:
When you get to the site add eltchat to the # box. You can then sit back and watch the action! If you want to contribute you can sign in but this is really the best place for smart lurking :-0
#eltchat is held on Wednesdays at 12.00 and 21.00 UK time – but the # is in use at all times so you can check in anytime to see what is going on.

Just a reminder that we do offer a school licence so if your school has advanced students (if wants to use it for teachers) this is possible – just let me know.
#RSCON
This was a great event Marcia and I met a few times at events and she was amazingly helpful to me when I couldn’t get my presentation uploaded. She worked incredibly hard over the 3 days.
The conference was amazing with so many delegates attending from all over the world. There were over 200 at the closing keynote!
The recordings of all the presentations should be available next week. I’ll post a link to Marcia’s in our next ELTMentor news and to all the others so you can see what went on and explore further.
Dates coming up
Our next teleseminar is August 29th.We’ll be discussing classroom dynamics and management.
I”ll send all the details nearer to the session.
Need help with anything?
If anybody else needs help with anything just post in the forum, or on twitter or email me or message in Gapfillers. I am really pleased that you are using the forum – it’s becoming a buzzy place.
Until next week
