Sarah Brightman’s career as a singer and dancer began in 1976, and she has gone on to become a songwriter and actress. Her style of singing is a blend of classical vocals and pop-inspired instrumentation, and can be described as classical crossover or operatic pop, so namely a combination of different genres.She has sung and danced in musicals such as The Phantom of the Opera, and has also released disco singles.
