Sometimes trying to be too efficient causes its own problems!

In an effort to be completely ready for the return to school I earmarked one big shopping day when everything would be bought, labelled, folded neatly ready for the first day.

Here we are two whole weeks later, waiting for labels to arrive (I forgot to order them even though this had been on the ‘to do’ list for 2 months!), and with one complete bag of PE kit having vapourised which will now have to be replaced!!

The rule of the game seems to be that things are not done until they reach the critical list even though they are in our minds for weeks before this. Not sure what the solution is, but here must be one – any ideas??
