Free exercises – Feb 2011

A belated Happy Valentine’s Day (Feb 14th ) to everybody. We hope you didn’t forget to wish a happy day to those you love…

This month, in the Free Exercises area, we have marked Valentine’s Day with a wonderful story by Oscar Wilde – have a tissue ready, it should bring a tear to the eye.

The Grammar section features an exercise on ‘reporting verbs’, and we are featuring a successful Treasure Hunt for you to listen to this month.

‘Beer, breakfast and football’ is the subject of a news bulletin for you to work on, too. Meanwhile, our 21st Century Nobody is counting the cost of somebody else’s hobby.
