Honda showcases its alternative fuel car the FCX Clarity at the G8 summit in Japan.

Honda’s zero-emission hydogen fuel cell car rolled off the production line early in June (2008) and has formented interest among advocates of greener motoring, not least in Hollywood – with several film industry notables ordering one.

Rival Japanese automaker Toyota’s Prius is the top-selling hybrid in the U.S. with customers facing a six month waiting list to obtain one.
