Jul. 21 – Billionaire investor Carl Ichan’s attempt to force a deal between Yahoo and Microsoft took an unexpected turn after he agreed to join Yahoo’s board.

 

Bank of America surprised Wall Street with a smaller-than-expected drop in second quarter profits.
