Icelanders bank protest

Oct. 19 – More than two thousand people gather outside the Icelandic parliament to demand a new head of the central bank.

They demanded the resignation of the head of the central bank and a new monitory policy.

The demonstrators were referring to Central Bank Governor David Oddsson a former prime minister and close ally of the current premier.
