Indonesia’s sweet, cheap sugar
Jul 10 – It’s sweet, it’s cheap to produce and it’s all natural.
Indonesian farmers produce sugar from coconut sap, but sell it for a mere pittance.
The all natural sugar is sold in local markets. But Indonesia is one of the world’s largest importers of refined white sugar, making the traditional method an increasingly rare sight.
