No jobs in Georgian ghost town

Mar 24 – The few residents still remaining in the Georgian settlement of Akhalgori in South Ossetia say they live in fear and have no work.

Unemployment is affecting workers world-wide as the global recession spreads.

But few places are suffering as much as the village of Akhalgori in South Ossetia where almost everyone is out of work, as the fall-out from the war between Georgia and Russia continues.
