Kenyan village celebrates Obama

Jan 19 – The Kenyan village where Barack Obama’s father was born is hopeful their most famous grandson will help bring progress to one of the world’s most impoverished countries.

For five days, residents – men, women and children – will be celebrating and honouring Barack Obama who will take his oath as the 43rd president of the United States of America on Tuesday.
