This month in the Foyer, we have a travel theme, with Colombia and cruising in the reading section, and a discussion on travel in the listening section. The grammar section includes verbs, adverbs and ‘words for emphasis’ amongst other things.2010 has heralded in an icy blast for the UK, with heavy snow and freezing temperatures, so if you need to warm up, have a go at a traditional English dish – Lancashire hot pot – delicious! In the news section, we have stories covering China, Spain, an epic voyage that ends badly, and some travelling in space!!So, we have tried to cover the globe and beyond for this theme! Enjoy – and remember that practice makes perfect, and here at Gapfillers we provide a wide range of ways for you to practise and develop your English language skills.
