Welcome to month number 2 of Language Snippets. Once again we have a great selection of exercises to test your language skills, and all in handy ‘bite-size’ snippets that can fit perfectly into your day!

 

This month’s grammar practices include the use of social phrases, idioms and the correct use of adverbs. There are short, topical news sections and a listening exercise on an iconic sculpture.

You can also read about one of English literature’s all-time greats, Charles Dickens.

All in all, there should be plenty to keep your language skills fine-tuned for another month.
