here is the re-written passage:
The first time Mel saw Josh it was love at first sight. Very soon they were going out with each other. But, Josh didn’t tell Mel he was married and when she found this out from another friend, she got very angry and after a terrible row they split up.
Josh, however, couldn’t help thinking about Mel all the time, although he didn’t want to. Mel was able to put their romance out of her mind and move on with her life. Josh tried to get in touch with her several times, but she had already decided to have nothing to do with him. So Josh got very sick and had to have 3 months off work!
Then, one day, he bumped into Mel in Oxford Street in London, but she told him that he was responsible for killing their love, because he’d lied to her.
Even today, he still hasn’t got over his heart-break.
