Plane crashes into New York river

Jan. 15 – A twin-engine jet crashed into the Hudson River apparently hitting a flock of birds.

One witness said he saw flames coming out of the left engine. Aviation officials said all 155 people on board managed to safely get off the plane. Fred Katayama reports from New York.
