Plane crashes into New York river

1. Flight 1549 had just left La Guardia airport bound for Charlotte, North Carolina when it suddenly came down.
2. Some passengers wearing life preservers waited on the plane’s wings as ferries and water taxis rushed to rescue them.
3. "The left engine just blew. Fire, flames coming out of it and I was looking right at it ‘cos I was sitting right there."
