Presentation vocabulary – answers

How did you do?

1) Humour is the hallmark of Daniel’s presentations. He does it so well!

2) Make sure that you do not shuffle your papers whilst presenting; keep them still.

3) Let the pitch and tone of your voice rise and fall. Do not speak in a monotone.

4) Each presenter is allotted 15 minutes in which to deliver their presentation.

5) Good morning. The topic of my presentation today is ‘Business survival in recession’.

6) Some of the views Celia presented were quite provocative, and that resulted in a very interesting question and answer session at the end!

7) The content of the presentation was good, but the presenter’s posture was terrible; he slumped over his notes for most of it!

8) There was ample time for more content in Joe’s presentation. Perhaps a couple of anecdotes would have padded it out a bit.

9) Do not have too many things occurring simultaneously in a presentation. This can result in the audience becoming distracted from the content you are trying to deliver.
