Prince William begins Navy training
Jun. 3 – Britain’s Prince William has begun a two month attachment with the Royal Navy as part of his preparations for his future role as King.
The second-in-line to the throne joined a group of British sailors to learn basic seamanship.
The second part of his two-month attachment will be spent will be spent with the frigate HMS Iron Duke, on duty in the North Atlantic, where the prince is expected to join navy patrols searching for drug runners in Caribbean waters.
Earlier this year, the 25-year-old completed a four-month attachment with the Royal Airforce where he learned to fly.
