"Rage" strips down at Berlin

It could be the future of affordable film-making – a new genre called "Naked Cinema" had its premiere at the Berlin Film Festival this week.

Directed by Sally Potter and starring Jude Law, Judi Dench and Steve Buscemi, "Rage" cost only $1 million to make.

The film consists of face-to-camera interviews, a style inspired by reality TV.

While it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, it’s an intimate form of film-making that lends credence to the idea that dark economic times lead to innovative art.
