Setting an agenda for a meeting – writing exercise
Setting an agenda for a meeting
An agenda is a list of the business to be discussed at a meeting, put together by managerial or secretarial staff or by volunteers organising a club or society of any kind. Usually, the name of the group meeting is at the top of the agenda, together with when and where the meeting will be held. Certain items are standard – the first three mentioned in this exercise are a case in point.
Can you listen to this person asking you to set an agenda to send out and then just list the agenda points as a set of numbered points? (Sometimes these are presented as bullet points).
