Sept 3 – The super rich owners of the English soccer club Manchester City say they want trophies and championship victory.

The Abu Dhabi United Group for Development wants to turn City into the top club in the league ahead of arch rivals Manchester United.

City have long lived in the shadow of United and have not won a trophy for 32 years.

Hours after confirming a change of ownership, City stunned the Premier League’s big guns by beating the British transfer deadline to sign Robinho for an estimated 32.5 million pounds.
