You are now on your way to finding out EXACTLY what you need to do to improve your score and get your IELTS band once and for all.

What to do next.

1. At the top right of this page you will see the IELTS Total-Check-Up test – question paper and audio for the listening
2. Choose Academic or General Training (only 1 test per purchase)
3. Download the test and audio and then complete all parts
4. Try to do everything in the time bit if you do need longer to complete it then tell us how long it took so we can factor this into the score
5. Try to add 10 minutes transfer time time for your listening
6. You can send your writing in Word (to get the best feedback) or as a PDF (scanned – the quality is not always so good with this)
7. If you type it then turn off spell-check and grammar check (or ignore this)
8. When you have completed everything – email it to me using this email address: berniw@englishlanguagetraining.co.uk

Then we’ll do the rest!

1. Within 3 days we’ll return your test with corrections, an approximate band score and explanation of why you made each mistake
2. You’ll also receive the transcript for the listening so you can go ahead and check your listening results using this script
3. Finally you’ll receive models for the task 1 and 2 you have written so, again, you can compare your task with the models (these are written by teachers and so will be band 9 level)
4. We’ll also give you a link to book your Skype call for the speaking test and IELTS plan

Finally, you will know what you need to fix and exactly how to fix it to get your score
