Can you write down the 20 words you hear which are typical of the words which often stop English being as clear as it could be? It can be helpful to know what they mean, before you avoid using them yourself! While writing down the words you are listening here not just to how the word is pronounced, but also to its intonation.
The second half of the exercise gives you the spellings – you will be asked to link the words you heard with the more straightforward words which might be appropriate and would be more understandable.
