1 However much you criticise Mr Hardy, I still think he’s a good boss.
2 Whoever did the catering charged very reasonable prices.
3 You can sit wherever you choose.
4 I wonder whatever it is that is making that strange noise.
5 Whenever he speaks to me he’s dreadfully nervous.
6 Whoever is responsible for maintaining the property is doing an excellent job.
7 Whatever job you get, it’ll be better than sitting doing nothing.

Remember, too, that ‘whatever‘ can be used alone as an informal reply meaning something doesn’t matter either way.

Eg "Do you fancy going to the cinema, or to the park?’

"Whatever." (= either option would be fine by me, I don’t mind, you choose what you’d prefer, because I have no particular feelings either way….)
